Pegasus, steam locomotive No. 2, was part of the Boston Revere Beach and Lynn railroad or more commonly known as the narrow gauge. The homes in the backdrop are located on Buchanan Street. This view was taken in 1888 during construction of the Railroad's final track route. Winthrop citizens commonly referred to this new track route as "the loop." |
